Description
This class is the first step for the novice first-time shooter who is interested in learning about firearms.
The training you will receive will cover:
- Reviewing Universal Firearms Safety Procedures
- Understanding the Basic Operating Principals of various firearms
- Covering Proper Shooting Fundamentals for each weapon system
During class you will handle a semi-automatic handgun, a revolver, a shotgun and a rifle.
This class is an overview only and does NOT involve any live fire of actual ammunition. You will fire simulated firearms in a safe and controlled environment. The class is designed to give the novice a hands-on introduction to the safe handling of firearms.
About the Instructor: Richard Meure
Retired Police Officer with over 28 years of law enforcement experience. Rick was a member of his department’s SWAT Team for 18 years and was also part of a regional Counter Terrorism Team for 13 years. He currently teaches tactical firearms skills and defensive tactics at a local Police Academy.
