Firearm Safety & Home Defense Seminar

Sunday, November 19, 2017 | 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Krav Maga Specialist Division presents Holiday Shopping Safety Seminar followed by a Firearm Safety & Home Defense Class taught by Optempo Training.

The Firearms Safety Class will cover basic handling, function, and safety measures for pistols, revolvers, shotguns, and carbines. Students will have the option to handle firearms. Some basic tactics and developing an emergency action plan will be discussed as well.

This class is great for those who are curious, new, or considering purchasing a firearm, or for those who would like a refresher or update on modern firearm defense ideology. Males and females ages 18+ are welcome to attend, ages 16-17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. $49 per person.

Optempo Training is lead by U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Veteran, Matt Harden. Matt has deployed to Panama and Chile as well as serving as an infantry squad leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Combat operations and observing/instructing foreign military/police units developed his skills and training ideology. After the Marines, Matt went on to become a Law Enforcement Officer and now services on an active SWAT team as well as being a California POST Certified Firearms Instructor.
